Performance & Technology
Speed benchmarks, Core Web Vitals, and technology assessment for Bandidos Pitstop
Mobile PageSpeed Score
Strong mobile performance — Bandidos Pitstop posts the best mobile score in its competitive set, with only LCP, FCP and TBT just outside Google's 'good' thresholds.
Competitive Comparison
Benchmarked against 4 leading Electronics & Tech stores in your market
| Store | Mobile Score | Desktop Score | Mobile LCP | Mobile CLS | Mobile TBT |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bandidos Pitstop (Client) | 77 | 60 | 3.8s | 0.05 | 275ms |
| LRL Motors | 56 | 98 | 9.8s | 0 | 278ms |
| Moto Central India | 43 | 32 | 17.8s | 0.134 | 666ms |
| Primo Customs | 75 | 81 | 3.3s | 0.056 | 280ms |
| Moto Torque | 53 | 91 | 13.6s | 0.098 | 346ms |
⚠ Note: LRL Motors, Moto Central India, Primo Customs, Moto Torque score lower than Bandidos Pitstop on mobile PageSpeed. This reflects the Electronics & Tech category average — even established brands in this space struggle with mobile performance. The opportunity is to leapfrog the category, not just match it.
Core Web Vitals — Google's UX Quality Signals
Sites failing Core Web Vitals may rank lower in Google mobile search results
LCP How fast content appears
FCP First visual response
TBT Main thread blocking
CLS Visual stability
INP Tap/click responsiveness
What This Means for Revenue
Bandidos Pitstop scores 77/100 on mobile — ahead of all four benchmarked competitors (Primo Customs 75, LRL Motors 56, Moto Torque 53, Moto Central India 43). Field Data (28-day average) from real Chrome users is rated FAST overall: LCP 1.5s, INP 160ms, CLS 0.06. The remaining gap is on the lab side: mobile LCP of 3.8s and 275ms of total blocking time sit just outside the 'good' band, and desktop scores 60 with over a second of blocking time from third-party scripts. Speed is a strength to protect rather than a problem to fix — the bigger conversion opportunities in this audit sit in the shopping experience itself.
Technology Stack
Platform
Shopify
Shopify storefront on Cloudflare edge; theme-store theme with a large third-party app footprint.
Theme
Enterprise
- Type: Shopify Theme Store theme (Enterprise, theme store id 1657), live copy named 'Copy of 2026 LIVE'
- Theme schema version 1.6.3, Online Store 2.0 sections
- Cart is a full page: ATC and the bag icon both go to /cart, no cart drawer
Checkout & Payments
Shopify checkout with GoKwik mobile-number (OTP) sign-in via Cashfree (Cashfree checkout SDK loaded on storefront)
- Checkout from the cart opens a GoKwik Login Now modal asking for a +91 mobile number, over a Shopify email and password sign-in page
- No Shop Pay or Google Pay button on the cart
- UPI and cards shown near cart checkout; Snapmint EMI widget on PDP and cart
Technology Assessment
Bandidos Pitstop runs on the Shopify Enterprise theme behind Cloudflare, with Snapmint EMI, Cashfree payments, GoKwik mobile-number checkout login, Judge.me reviews and a full analytics stack. The cart is a page, not a drawer.
UX & Conversion Findings
Page-by-page analysis with visual comparisons against top Electronics & Tech stores
- The first hero slide shows an EXPLORE ACCESSORIES pill that is part of the banner image and very small at mobile width.
- The hero slideshow markup holds only image links and slide dots, with no text or button elements.
- Other hero slides we viewed carry no visible call-to-action label.
- Overlay a real HTML button (for example Shop for your bike) on every hero slide, large enough for a thumb tap.
- Point each button at the bike or category collection shown in the banner to shorten the path to a product list and lift click-through.
- LRL Motors already puts a tappable Choose your brake pads button directly on its homepage hero.
- On the crash guard collection (/collections/crash-guard) the cards in view show image, title, price, discount badge, EMI line and stock label, but no star rating.
- Judge.me is installed and some homepage cards do display stars, so the gap is the missing reviews on most products, not the tool.
- Riders comparing high-priced guards have no social proof to separate similar-looking cards.
- Show Judge.me star badges and review count on every card that has reviews.
- Run post-purchase review requests on top sellers so more cards earn a rating, which supports click-through on high-value parts.
- Primo Customs already shows star ratings and review counts on its crash guard collection cards.
- Filter & Sort opens a drawer listing 7 groups: Sort by, Your Bike, Availability, Price, Brand, Warranty and Product type, all collapsed.
- The Your Bike filter exists, but a rider must open the drawer and then expand the group before any fitment narrowing happens.
- The collection page shows nothing about which bikes the listed guards fit until a card is opened.
- Add a Select your bike chip row or selector above the product grid and remember the choice across pages.
- Open Your Bike expanded by default in the drawer so fitment narrowing becomes the first step, lifting relevant-product views and conversion.
- LRL Motors already opens its brake pad collection with a Choose your motorcycle make selector above the product grid.
- Scrolling the product page at seven depths down its full length, the only fixed element is the site header; no add to cart bar appears.
- After the first screen the buy button leaves the viewport and the rider must scroll back up to purchase.
- Description, specifications and trust blocks sit below the button, so the decision content is read away from it.
- Show a bottom bar with price, selected variant and Add to Cart once the main button scrolls out of view.
- Keep it compact and above the WhatsApp chat button to avoid overlap; this keeps the purchase action one tap away and lifts add-to-cart rate.
- Primo Customs already keeps a fixed Add to Cart bar on screen as shoppers scroll its product pages.
- Around the buy buttons the page shows only the EMI widget, colour swatches, quantity, Add to Cart, Buy It Now and Share on WhatsApp.
- The 100% Genuine, Easy Returns, Fast Pan-India Delivery and 2M+ Riders blocks appear only after the Description, Specifications and Features accordions.
- Warranty is not shown near the button on this product.
- Place a compact icon row under Add to Cart: Genuine product, Easy returns, Pan-India delivery and warranty.
- Repeat the same row in the sticky bar to reassure buyers of high-value parts at the moment of decision and lift add-to-cart.
- Primo Customs already places Trusted by Riders, Quality Checked and Secure Payments icons directly under its buy buttons.
- Title, badges, price and EMI block are shown with no rating line anywhere above the fold.
- The reviews section further down shows Be the first to write a review, so the page has no social proof at all.
- Judge.me is installed, so the gap is empty review coverage rather than missing tooling.
- Show a rating summary under the title and anchor it to the reviews section, falling back to a store-wide rating when a product has no reviews yet.
- Request reviews from past buyers and import existing ones to lift trust on high-ticket items.
- LRL Motors already shows the star rating and review count directly under the product title.
- After the trust blocks the product page goes straight to Customer Reviews and then the footer on the two products we checked.
- A You May Also Like carousel exists in the cart, so recommendation data is available.
- A rider who is not convinced by this product has no onward path except the back button.
- Add a recommendation section after the description with same-bike and same-category products.
- Reuse the cart recommendation source, filtered to bike fitment, to lift pages per session and recover undecided shoppers.
- Moto Central India already shows a Related Products grid on its product pages.
- The gallery counter on this product reads 1/2 with a single studio-style packshot visible first.
- Another product page (Legundary BMW F900 GS crash guards) shows a counter of 14, so richer galleries exist elsewhere in the store.
- Lighting products depend on seeing the unit installed and lit.
- Add installed-on-bike, beam and size-reference images to every product.
- Standardise a minimum image set per product to support purchase confidence and reduce pre-sale questions.
- LRL Motors already pairs the main product image with a strip of thumbnails showing multiple angles.
- The announcement bar and product pages promote the code F100OFF for a flat 100 off.
- The cart page order summary contains Add order note, a subtotal, the EMI widget and the Checkout button, but no field to enter a code.
- The bag icon opens the /cart page directly, so there is no drawer carrying a code field either.
- Add a Have a code field with an Apply button above Checkout and show the applied saving as a line item.
- Let buyers confirm the promised offer before leaving the cart, which reduces drop-off to hunt for codes.
- Primo Customs already offers a coupon code field in its cart, right above the subtotal.
- With a single ₹2,980 item in the cart there is no message about the ₹3,000 free-shipping threshold.
- The threshold appears only in the scrolling announcement bar at the top of the page.
- The cart recommendation carousel is not tied to the shipping gap.
- Show a bar reading Add ₹X more for free shipping that updates as the cart changes, and link it to a small add-on list.
- This nudges buyers just under the line to add an item and lifts order value.
- LRL Motors already shows a cart progress bar telling shoppers how much more unlocks free shipping.
- With a Legundary BMW F900 GS Bellator crash guard in the cart, the first You May Also Like card is a Legundary Honda Transalp 750 Adrinex crash guard.
- A BMW F900 GS Titan boot guard cart also leads with the Honda Transalp boot guard.
- Fitment is the main purchase worry in this category, so recommendations for other bikes weaken trust.
- The store already stocks same-bike add-ons that could fill this slot: BMW F900 GS Titan boot guards (₹2,980.00, was ₹3,830.00), a Rotex front wheel slider pair (₹4,899.00, was ₹6,300.00) and a Vambrace bash plate (₹13,800.00, was ₹17,740.00), all for a Bellator crash guard cart priced at ₹9,980.00 (was ₹12,830.00).
- Rank recommendations by same bike first, then same category, using the bike tag already attached to products.
- Fitment-matched add-ons raise attach rate and order value without adding fit anxiety.
- The order summary shows only a subtotal, the EMI widget and Checkout.
- A separate Estimate Shipping form asks for country, province and zip code, with the province pre-set to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
- The estimator sits between the cart items and the summary, pushing the Checkout button down the page.
- On a ₹9,980.00 cart the summary shows the Snapmint line (₹1663/month) but never confirms that shipping is free or what the final total will be.
- Add shipping and order-total lines to the summary, showing Free when the ₹3,000 threshold is met.
- Pre-fill location from the browser or pincode so buyers see the final amount before Checkout, reducing late surprises.
